I originally had some totally different plans for this session. Then life happened. “C” suffered a back injury limiting her mobility which would make walking all around downtown Temple virtually impossible. Unfortunately deployments don’t wait for life to happen. The date is set and they still roll out no matter what life has presented to us. So in true army wife fashion “C” sucked it up and carried on. With a quick location change and a few other adjustments we were still able to complete their session. When deployments happen good old Murphy and his law shows up; anything that can go wrong will. “C” is already making a great start to taking this deployment head on.

As the wife of a soldier, a wife of a deployed soldier, I know how much it means to have pictures of your family before your loved one deploys. They bring you comfort and happiness and take you back to the time when your soldier was home and your family was complete. We had our own family pictures taken before my husband deployed and I can not even put into words how special those images are to us. I am so honored to be a part of the OpLove team so that I can help bring this little piece of happiness to other families who are at the beginning of a very difficult year.

This family was so much fun to work with from the youngest helping to compose the shots down to the girls grossing out over their parents being all mushy. What was even more fun is that mom and dad were in the background making the same noises when the girls were taking a few pictures together. Love it! I hope that you had as much fun as I did!

When checking the weather before heading out for today’s session the weatherman said that today was supposed to be sunny with a high of 70. The weatherman was so very wrong. It was cloudy and windy and cold. These two little girls were such troopers. They were so cold but it didn’t slow them down not one bit. They ran, they played, and like all toddlers had absolutely no interest in having their pictures taken. Most toddlers don’t. Mine seem to be especially good at evading the camera.
