There is this little thing called HDR Photography. High Dynamic Range Photography. It is something that I have wanted to try for a very, very long time. There is a photographer, who just happens to be from Austin, who photographs the world in HDR imagery. I have stalked his blog for a very long time and I have so admired his work. I can not even begin to express to you how excited I am that I finally have had an opportunity to try this technique out.

Here you go. This was my fun for the day. Now it’s time to get back to work.

sunny but cloudy

The weatherman said that today was supposed to be sunny with a high of 70. The weatherman was so very wrong. These two little girls were such troopers. They were so cold but it didn’t slow them down not one bit. They ran, they played, and like all toddlers had absolutely no interest in having their pictures taken. Believe me, I know how that goes. How often do you see pictures of my 2 year old around here?

Miss Attitude

Immediately I knew that this was going to be a fun session when Miss A told me that I could title her sneak peek Miss Attitude and she fulfilled that expectation and then some. I can not even begin to tell you what an exceptional and dedicated girl this is. Not only will Miss A be graduating from high school this year but she will also be graduating from Central Texas College with an Associate’s Degree. All at the ripe old age of 18. She is playful, full of personality and spunk and in just spending a short amount of time with her you can tell that she just plain loves life. She is the daughter that any mom would be proud to have, and her mom is. Thank you Miss A for letting me help celebrate such a huge accomplishment in your life. And thank you Mom for being the most cooperative mom that I have had the pleasure of working with.

I have offically decided that the groundhog is my least favorite animal, ever. The cold, gloomy, rainy, and snowy? weather has got to go. I am so ready for spring to get here I almost can’t stand the anticipation. I am ready for sunshine, flowers, nice warm afternoons and flip flops.

Sooner or later Spring will come and what better way to celebrate than with a Spring Special. So here ya go!

password protected gallery for online viewing of your images
CD with all of your selected session images (with personal printing rights – you print where you choose)
black and white conversions on all images

*a $50 reservation fee will be due before you session may be scheduled
*there will be an additional $50 travel fee for sessions held in Austin
